Game rules & FAQ
ROOM is an adventure for the whole team, where members face the challenges of a new reality together. It’s a unique opportunity to take on dozens of different roles: travel to the land of giants, save Wonderland, solve a mysterious murder case, compete against friends in an arcade duel, and much more!
In an Escape Room, you solve all the puzzles together as a team within a set time to escape from a locked room.
In an Arcade Room, you play in two teams in two mirrored rooms with the goal of scoring more points than the opposing team.
In an Activate Room, you go through six different rooms to collect as many points as possible. Physical activity is also involved, as the rooms include athletic challenges.
While searching for solutions, you can try anything—don’t worry, we’ll clean up and reset the game room afterward. However, irreversible damage should be avoided. Most puzzles can be solved without physical force. If destruction or dismantling is necessary, the clues will make it very clear.
After finishing the game, please do not reveal any details to others, as it could spoil the adventure for those who haven’t played yet.
The only special tools you need are your logic, quick thinking, intuition, and team spirit. A bit of muscle and agility may help in some games.
Before the game, we’ll ask you to leave your bags, devices, spy gadgets, or potentially dangerous items outside the game room. This is part of the game’s ethics and is also anchored in safety rules.
A team will be refused entry by our game masters if the age or number of participants does not meet our guidelines. Intoxicated individuals (above 0.25‰) are also not allowed in. Costs will not be refunded in these cases.

You can pay conveniently with Twint, cash, EC card, or credit card. For team events, payment by invoice is possible.
A game typically lasts between 60 and 75 minutes, depending on the game and how quickly your team can solve the tasks. The exact duration is provided in the game description before booking.
Please arrive 10 minutes before the game start and plan 75–90 minutes for the entire ROOM experience.
Rescheduling or cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the game start. If this is not adhered to, we will charge the minimum fee.
It depends on our availability. On a quiet day, the room can start a little later without issue. However, if we’re fully booked, the game cannot start after 20 minutes of delay, as it will not be completed on time and could lead to a poor experience. In this case, you may be moved to a different available room.
The game is just a game, but it takes place in the real world. For example, cables may carry real high voltage, and broken glass can cause injuries. Pay attention to the basic safety rules and follow the game master’s instructions to avoid unwanted incidents.
All rooms are equipped with video cameras and microphones. If a situation gets out of hand, our game master will immediately step in to help. If you’re stuck during the game, just press the button to get a hint or use other available tools.
Most of ROOM’s games are safe for people with claustrophobia. The game master monitors the entire game via cameras and microphones and will intervene if needed. If the game’s rules indicate any restrictions or warnings, we will mention this in the game description on our website.
