General
ROOM Escape Room is a Live Escape Game (Quest) in specially designed rooms for groups of 1-8 people (depending on the type of the Room), based in Hohlstrasse Zuerich. By completing the booking process, each player, or the parent/guardian of players under 18, accepts the terms and conditions outlined below.
Participants and Age
Teams comprise of 1-8 players (depending on the type of the room), and the minimum age for participation is 8 years of age. Children between 8 and 14 years of age must be accompanied in the game by an adult.
Booking
Bookings can be made by filling out a booking form on our website http://roomescaperoom.ch and will be confirmed by email shortly after the booking is made, after which point the booking will be binding. Please carefully check all the contact details are complete and correct, as any errors could lead to complications or disappointment. Prices and Payment
Payments are to be made prior to playing upon arrival; we accept card and cash payments. Gift vouchers are also available for our games, and these can be purchased in a similar fashion.
The current prices and special promotions are shown on our website, and the price of the chosen game will be shown at the final stage of the booking confirmation process.
The reminder fees are CHF 0.00 for the first reminder (payment reminder), CHF 20.00 for the second reminder and CHF 40.00 for a possible third reminder.
If it has not been paid by then, we will forward it to the debt enforcement office.
Cancellations and Changes
Any cancellations or changes to bookings can be made free of charge up to 24 hours prior to the booked game. Any changes/cancellations can be made by contacting us via email or by phone:

ROOM Escape Room reserves the right to charge the full price for bookings that are changed/cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the start of the booked game.
Punctuality
Players are required to arrive promptly – late arrival may result in a reduced playing time (reduced to a minimum of 30 minutes) or complete cancellation. Refunds will not be given for cancellations as a result of late arrival.
Admittance
Players under the influence of alcohol will not be permitted to play, and refunds will not be given for cancellations in this case. In addition to this, ROOM Escape Room reserves the right to refuse entry without further justification.
Privacy Policy
Players are required to refrain from publishing details regarding the puzzles, brainteasers, challenges and solutions of the games. Players may not publish any information described above in the public domain (such as Blogs, Videoblogs, mass-media etc.). It is also not permitted to make any recordings or take photos during the game. Prior to beginning a game, players will be required to switch off any recording devices (such as mobile phones) or store them in the lockers provided. ROOM Escape Room reserves the right to stop any games where this rule is not adhered to, and to refuse refund. Additionally to this, ROOM Escape Room reserves the right to demand the deletion of any recordings or pictures taken without permission.
Use of Content
Any commercial use of the content (game procedures, brainteasers, puzzles, solutions, hidden items etc.) that is used in the ROOM Escape Room games is forbidden.
Interruptions
Due to the technical complexity of the games at ROOM Escape Room, it is occasionally possible that short interruptions to gameplay can occur. In this case, ROOM Escape Room reserves the right to extend gameplay by up to 15 minutes, but will not offer refunds (including partial refunds).
Cancellations made by ROOM Escape Room
For technical reasons, it may be necessary for ROOM Escape Room to cancel a confirmed booking. ROOM Escape Room reserves the right to cancel a game, but will only do so by directly informing the participants. In this case, an alternative booking (if available) or a complete refund of any payment will be offered. No further compensation will be offered.
Liability
ROOM Escape Room aims to offer the best service possible and to keep all confirmed bookings. In the case that the services offered cannot be provided, through failure on the behalf of ROOM Escape Room employees or representatives, ROOM Escape Room will accept liability. Should the participant(s) wish to make a claim against ROOM Escape Room, it is their responsibility to prove that the lack of care and skill in provision of the services was present.
Disclaimer
ROOM Escape Room accepts no responsibility of any kind resulting from the actions of the participant(s) or a third party, or as a result of unpredictable or unavoidable events (force majeure).
Complaints
In order to effectively solve problems, participants are asked to report any faults or defects to ROOM Escape Room within one month of their visit, quoting their booking number. Complaints can be registered via email or by phone:
